Today when I watched the Business for Good competition video from the 2014 Social Enterprise Alliance Summit in Nashville, I learned about Conscious Step. After I went to their website to learn more, I immediately bought my first pair of socks!
Conscious Step was founded by three friends that weren’t happy with the problems faced by the world today. So they started the company to create “Thoughtfully Made Socks That Fight For Causes That Matter.” Each pair of socks ($14.95) is uniquely designed for the cause it supports, ethically manufactured and partnered with a first-class non-profit to fund impact for the world’s biggest challenges – the United Nations Millennium Development Goals. Currently Conscious Step supports four causes – hunger, planting trees, educating children and combating HIV.
